Haven't been posting much lately as a lot has been going on on the home front that was either too mundane or too premature to blog. Jean's sister Gerry is coming for Christmas and will arrive today. They will have a ball catching up.

In order to use up my vacation before the end of the year I had a day off yesterday and went to see the new King Kong. Because it was done by Peter Jackson, I expected to enjoy it but I was not prepared for the enthralling enchantment that I experienced in sitting through this movie.

I don't want to take away any of your enjoyment by discussing the plot or the scenes so I will simply say that the depth and richness that Jackson has given in this film literally had me sitting open mouthed, eyes wide with wonder for minutes at a time as the experience of the movie cascaded over me.

Whether you are a King Kong fan or not, do yourself a favor and go see it.
