Interesting answer to poor parkers
Someone posted on the blog "Post Secret" this weekend that whenever they see a car parked very incourteously (such as taking 2 spots), they leave an anonymous note saying they hit the car, even though they didn't.

Our family Christmas present was to order the game "Journey to Wild Divine". We had seen the pre-release info when the game was announced but not yet available. When it finally came out we were preoccupied and didn't notice but just before Christmas, we stumbled across one at the Odyssey but they were out. We ordered one and got it last week.
The game is fabulous. It is based on biofeedback and metaphysical principles. You wear biofeedback sensors monitoring heartrate variability and galvanic skin response and you advance in the game by developing mastery of your energy level, the abilty to raise your energy or calm yourself at will. The animation is delightful and we are all three off to a fun start.

I was reading Lifehacker in my daily blog read and found the news that Yahoo! is allowing signups for Yahoo ID's with a dot in them. So if you had to settle for prairiedawg865@yahoo.com the first time around, now you can do better. If you're quick you can snag john.smith@yahoo.com or whatever best suits you.
Be sure you are logged out of yahoo and then just go to mail.yahoo.com and select sign up instead of sign in.

40 mph westerly winds gusting to 55 are carrying a good bit of New Mexico topsoil and sending the tumbleweeds scurrying. For the benefit of those living further north, where winter winds bear whiter stuff, although the temperature is 67, the windchill makes it feel like its 52 (snicker).
Bob Cringely writes well and in depth about the internet, its ramifications and its future. I have been following him for several years and have been amazed at the acuaracy and depth of his analysis of what was going on. He publishes his weekly column "The Pulpit" every Saturday and if you're interested in tech and its future, it is worth the read.
I was reading reviews of which tech pundits had the best batting averages on their predictions for 2005 and Cringely was at the top of the list. His column next week will include his predictions for 2006
We wish the best for you and yours. May 2006 see even better times for us all.
