Silver Anniversary Gazebo
As Jean and I were fishing about for how we wished to celebrate our 25th anniversary, we considered a trip, a party and then there was the question of what we wanted to get each other. Back in April, Jean was gifted with flash of brilliance which became our anniversary project. When we got the new house, it came with a gazebo. Though the structure was sound, it needed maintenace and fixing it up was on our list of projects. The idea was to take the remaining weeks before our anniversary and make the gazebo a sort of monument to this wonderful day. We power-washed, we sanded, we repaired, we primed, we painted and we shingled and by early afternoon yesterday it was finished . . . and here it is: The Silver Anniversary Gazebo.
