Windstorm aftermath
The weather reports yesterday said that Saturday's wind gusts got over 70 mph. The aftermath is all around. One of the plastic globes blew off of the lamp post in my front yard and was nowhere to be found. I figured it rolled down the street a block to where our street ends in a T capped by a chain link fence. I expected to find my globe pinned to the fence by a bunch of tumbleweeds. What I found was the fence laying flat, the poles bent at right angles to the ground. The same thing happened to the fence on the other side of the field so my globe is somewhere between here and Wichita Falls.
