Creeping Back From the Flu

The flu has swept through the family like a scythe. I brought it home from work and last weekend I did not stir from my bed or the recliner. By Tuesday the rest of the family had it but by then I had enough energy back to nurse them as they had nursed me. We have all been crawling back inch by inch. I got through this past weekend without niquil. I am now regaining my strength and purging the last of the toxins from my digestive tract. Kirk, Chloe and Jean are a few days behind me.
This was some nasty stuff. The hallmark of this particular flu seemed to be the body aches and a deep and racking cough. We are glad to see the back of it.

That virus has become almost a local pandemic. That same virus was responsible for temporarily shutting down almost two high schools! It has been spreading like the Spanish influenza of 1918!
