The first Sunday evening of each month a group of people who believe in holistic living gather in Lubbock to share ideas and a potluck supper. I was introduced to this gathering in January, though it has been going on for almost 2 years. Sunday was my second visit and it just keeps getting better. This month I was excited to meet Amy Jones whose family runs Sunburst Farms and Market at 88th and MLK in Lubbock. I can hardly wait to sample their healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
This being the first Friday of the Month, it was the Lubbock Art Walk. Some members of the Unity Church invited me to join them and it was delightful. All of the museums and art galleries are open and people are out in vast numbers taking in the art and the wine and the cheese. It was a pleasure.
