The Gathering of Hope
The first Sunday evening of each month a group of people who believe in holistic living gather in Lubbock to share ideas and a potluck supper. I was introduced to this gathering in January, though it has been going on for almost 2 years. Sunday was my second visit and it just keeps getting better. This month I was excited to meet Amy Jones whose family runs Sunburst Farms and Market at 88th and MLK in Lubbock. I can hardly wait to sample their healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
